Joanna Marcus, M.A.

I bring warmth, a calm nature, and creativity to my work with clients, helping them navigate life’s challenges, joys, and everything in between. I incorporate expressive arts and play into the therapy space and use creative modalities as forms of self-expression and communication when life experiences are complicated and words alone are not enough. I’ve developed a deep appreciation for working with people across the lifespan in settings such as nursery schools, classrooms for children and teens living with disabilities, a children’s bereavement center, and a residence for elders.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Music with a concentration in Violin Performance from Brandeis University, and my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University.
