Policies

At Launch Psychological Associates, we prioritize transparency, ethical standards, and client well-being in everything we do. Our policies are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for both our team and those we serve. Explore our guidelines to learn more about our values and how we protect your trust.

Cancellation Policy

When we schedule an appointment, that time is set aside just for you. If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the time to another client.

If you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, it will be considered a Late Cancellation, and you will be charged as follows: (i) The first Late Cancellation in a calendar year is free, and (ii) after that, you will be charged the full session fee for each Late Cancellation.

Regardless of the reason, you are responsible for paying the Late Cancellation fee. Due to the limited availability of after-school appointments, repeated Late Cancellations may result in the loss of your reserved time.

Illness

If you or a member of your family has symptoms of a potentially contagious illness (cold, cough, fever, etc), please contact your clinician before coming into the office so that you can determine whether in person or telehealth sessions are most appropriate.

Inclement weather

If the Wakefield Public Schools are closed for weather, our physical office will be closed, and your clinician will contact you regarding the arrangement of a telehealth appointment

Privacy Policy

We value our clients’ privacy; all of our email communications are encrypted to the highest standard with Paubox.
